2.1 Installing Dev C++ compiler

❖ You can download this IDE from the Dev-C ++ Download Page. Installing it is being

    explained by the following steps.

1. As soon as you click on the setup.exe file and click on it, you will be shown the

window below.

In the above window you have to select your preferred language. Default language is

English. Here you will click OK.

2. After this you will be given the screen show below. This is a license agreement window.

    Here you will click on the I Agree button.

3. After this you will be shown the window below. In this window you have to choose type

    of installation.

    These windows provide you 3 (Full, Typical and Custom) options. You can select any

    type of installation according to your need. After selecting the installation type, you will

    click on next.

4. After this you will be shown the window below.

    In this window you specify the location where you want to install Dev C ++. By

    default this will install in the c drive. Once you set the location, you will click on the

    Install button.

5. After this you will be shown the window below.

    This is the installation progress window. You do not have to take any action in this

    window.

6. The above given progress window will show you the window below.

    This is the completion window, but you have to click on the Finish button.
